We needed to come up with a problem with the community so we chose something that no one else had even tried to do. We chose recycling. But what exactly. After meeting with Victor Melton the Environmental Specialists of the CFB-ISD district, we chose to recycle Syrofoam plates in the cafeteria. He came up with the Old plastic tray stackers and we modified them and added to what it needed to have to present to the audience of Turner High School. So during our reseach we found a couple of videos regarding styrofoam in general as well as successful food service recycling services at high schools. It is possible it just has to be done right.
